Everything you need to know about using Service Circle

Getting Started

Service Circle is a community platform designed to help you build a circle of trust. You can share reliable service providers, collaborate on common projects, and organize with your friends and neighbors to unlock group discounts.

Yes, Service Circle is free to use for organizing your community, sharing providers, and managing projects with your neighbors.

Circles & Contacts

Once you create an account, you can create a Circle or a Project. Inside any Circle or Project, you can invite others via email to join and collaborate.

No, your information is private by default. You choose exactly who to share your contact lists and recommendations with by inviting specific people to your Circles or Projects.

Navigate to "Contacts" in the main menu to see your contact lists. You can quickly add new people or companies, and even import vCards (.vcf files) from your phone or email client.

Common Projects

Common projects allow you to plan shared initiatives—like organizing a block party, fixing a shared fence, or hiring a contractor for multiple homes to get a group discount. You can create checklists, assign tasks, and keep everyone on the same page.

If a project is private but visible within a Circle, members of that Circle can "Request Access" to join the project. Project moderators will receive an email and can approve or decline the request directly from the platform.

Yes! Inside a project or circle, you can create a checklist and use the "Assign Members" feature to delegate tasks to anyone who is a member of that project.

Scheduling & Appointments

Click on "Calendar" in the top menu and select "My Schedules". From there, you can define your regular availability (e.g., Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM) and also block out specific dates or times when you are unavailable.

Yes! Projects, people, and companies can all have their own schedules. If you're managing a community event, you can set the event's availability so others know exactly when they can book timeslots for it.

If you have a schedule configured, other users can request an appointment during your available slots. You can review all requests under "My Appointments", where you can easily accept or decline them. You can also configure your schedule to auto-accept requests!
